Being Formed Into His Likeness

We pursue the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in order to be formed into the image of Jesus (2 Cor. 3:18). We do this by abiding in Him daily (John 15) and through a variety of ongoing formation opportunities.

And we all, with unveiled face... are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Abide in me as I abide in you... If you abide in me, you will bear much fruit... This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:4-5

Formation Opportunities

A Formation Circle is a group of 3 or more people committed to 12 months of formation together through daily abiding practices and a weekly gathering for encouragement, celebration, and prayer.
In these weekly Bible studies, we invite the Holy Spirit to teach us as we read the Scripture, engage in group discussion, and pray together.
- Men’s FBS – Tuesdays 6:45am at Stella Nova (150th and Western)
- Women’s FBS – Thursdays 11:00am at Skyline (childcare provided) *currently on break for the summer - join us in the fall
- All Adults Sunday Morning FBS - Sundays 9:00am at Skyline (childcare provided)
- Quarterly Formation Classes – Once per quarter, we offer 4-week classes on Sundays at 9:00am that cover a variety of topics that help form and equip us as disciples of Jesus.
- Family Formation Class – Meets weekly at 9:00am when Quarterly Formation Classes are not in session and is specifically aimed at topics pertaining to families.
- Seasonal Formation Classes – Seasonal studies, such as Soul Care or Living Fearless, that take place during the week or through weekend intensives.
Formation Gatherings are quarterly, gender-specific, and generational, such as Women’s Table or Men’s Retreat.
In these gatherings, we seek to deepen our discipleship to Jesus and intentionally connect with others in our church family.
